In Germany alone approximately 25 million people are exposed to increasing noise. Permanent noise exposure can have negative impact on our health and the quality of living – and even damage our health. The rule is simple: the louder the noise, the higher the health risk. Our reaction to noise is most sensitive during our sleep. By even small doses between 35 and 50 dB(A) of permanent noise trigger our stress hormones. And those who live near busy roads are exposed to 60dB(A) of noise.
Taking advantage of public funds
Ventilation systems with noise absorbing function ensure the peace and tranquillity that we all long for in our homes. Combined with sound insulation windows they deliver a strong noise absorbing barrier. In many cases purchase and installation of those vents is by public funds. What you have to do: you have to enquire if you are entitled to be included in the sound insulation protection scheme. The cost can sometimes be even covered in full.
