AUBI Hardware

Modern and flexible

With almost 130 year’s history, AUBI Hardware GmbH looks back on a long and successful tradition. The company has secured a strong position in the development of customer specific system solutions through strategic cooperation with selected key customers in the window and door market.

Even before the merger with SIEGENIA-FRANK KG in2003 there were 500 employees taking a flexible and customer focused approach to the market within their modern organization. This allowed AUBI to create an excellent starting point for the German and European competition.
1 January 1998: SIEGENIA-FRANK acquires AUBI Hardware GmbH. AUBI remains an independent company within the group until 2003.
1995: the hardware division is de-merged and becomes its own legal and economic entity. This development is accompanied by the opening of the Hermeskeil site where production is restructured and optimized.
1992 Part of the hardware production is moved from Mandern to Reinsfeld as part of a further increase in capacity and optimization of the manufacturing process.

1988 Hoesch AG takes over the company.
1977/78: the company’s manufacturing capacity is increased through the introduction of an additional site in Mandern.
1928: The product range is extended to bumpers and car jacks. Through this the founder’s son, Hans Bilstein, gains worldwide recognition as a supplier to the car industry.
